Plant Growth Diary (part 1)

Encouraging children to learn about plants by watching them grow…

Set up this easy experiment to see all the structures of a plant.

Young children (6-7 years old) should understand how seeds become plants.

Knowing how a plant grows, helps children understand where their food comes from.  It leads into the science of 'Life Cycles' and a better understanding of plant structure.

In this video Tristram will show you how to set an easy experiment to prove whether plants need light and water to grow.

Why not plan and record it all with our Plant Diary?

Methodical and scientific... perfect!
